La Ideal

Recently restored, Confitería La Ideal reopened with the splendor of its best times. A remarkable cafe that we should all know about. Carlos Gardel, Maradona, Jorge Luis Borges, Charlie Watts, Perón and Yoko Ono, among other personalities, visited in the more than 110 years of history the Confitería La Ideal. A couple of months ago, after being closed for 6 years for refurbishment works, this beautiful place reopened its doors to continue receiving regulars and casual visitors in Buenos Aires. A few years ago, La Idesl was acquired by new owners who decided to value the place, while respecting its original essence. The intention was clear: to take La Ideal back to its heyday and for the place to become a direct trip to 1912. The reopening took place in November 2022.
