Pasaje Rivarola, also known as the Mirror Street. It has been called the mirror street because it is probably the only one Buenos Aires with an absolutely symmetrical aspect in its constructions on both sidewalks. The passage is only a block long. So what is it that makes it so peculiar? It has mirrored, symmetrical, identical facades on both sidewalks. It is a street with character and distinction: stylistic homogeneity makes the Rivarola passage a site of cultural interest. It has the French style that prevails and obeys the eclectic trends that dominated Buenos Aires architecture in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Its facades have marble shields: they lead towards a harmonious physiognomy in a gray color that refers to Parisian academicism. In that block there are only eight buildings, facing each other in mirror, in absolute symmetry
