Chefs, journalists and gourmets from around the world converged in the capital to celebrate the prolific achievements and diversity of Latin American cuisine. Created from the opinions and experiences of more than 252 experts from the restaurant industry in Latin America, the list is the world-famous gastronomic reference platform that shows the main trends and highlights the best restaurants from all corners of the region. What constitutes the "best" is up to these gourmets and trusted experts. For the third consecutive year, the highest place on the podium was occupied by Chef Mitsuharu Tsumura's restaurant, Maido, in Lima, Peru. The Argentines, meanwhile, were recognized times by the restaurants Chila, Tegui, Mishiguene and Don Julio, which got the 4th place.
